The Spouse Palace is how you enter a long relationship and the pace inside it. A single chart is not a named person. Only a synastry chart places two people side by side.

What this palace is for
It describes a partnership pattern: who moves closer first, how tight the boundary is, and whether pace or result matters more inside the relationship.
It does not guarantee a marriage and does not name the other person or their birth date.
How to find it on a chart
Once the Life Palace is set, this site lays the names around the branch ring in this order: Life, Siblings, Spouse, Children, Wealth, Health, Travel, Friends, Career, Property, Fortune, Parents, and back to Life. The branch cells stay put. The names move. Spouse comes after Siblings. It is the third cell in the order.
Career, named 官禄 on the chart, sits opposite. To look at two people, use Zi Wei synastry. Do not write the other person’s stars into this palace.
How to read it
Read the major stars and transformations in Spouse first, then the trine of Travel and Fortune. An empty palace borrows the Career major star and should say so.
Hua ji in this palace marks a condition that sticks. It is not a disaster title.
Which palaces to read with it
Travel and Fortune are the trine. Career is the opposite. Relationship, the outer setting, inner ease, and public role often pull on one another.
Wealth is not in this trine. A money question moves to the Wealth Palace. Do not call Wealth a trine of Spouse.
One sentence that stays on structure
“Spouse holds this star, so the sentence is how this person enters a long relationship; Career, opposite, is the public role being pulled; Travel and Fortune are the outer setting and inner ease.”
To compare two people, name each Spouse Palace on the synastry chart. Do not merge two charts into one star.

- Reading the Spouse Palace as the other person’s name or appearance.
- Using a single chart in place of synastry.
