What is being compared

Each chart is already a twelve-palace Zi Wei chart under fateshow’s declared rules. The comparison then pairs palaces of the same name and records the earthly-branch relation between them: same branch, six-combination, three-combination, clash, harm, or punishment. One pair of branches can carry two relations at once. Both stay on the chart.

Annual transformations are traced from one person’s star into the other person’s palace, and then the other way. Star overlay lists where major stars of one chart fall in the other. Element bureaus are compared as generating, controlling, or the same phase. None of that is a luck score.

What fateshow calculates

Every transformation line names whose transformation it is, which star, and which palace on each side, so both ends can be checked on the source charts. Five themes — emotional bond, pace, help and pressure, practical base, communication — collect mirrors and transformations. They count. They do not grade.

The relationship lens may be overall, romantic, or marriage. That lens changes emphasis only. It does not add a parent-child reading or a business reading that this system does not claim.

What it is not

The older paid report at /synastry is a different page and a different flow. This overview points at the five-stage tool /synastry-ziwei. Do not treat the two URLs as one calculation log.

It is not astrology synastry and not BaZi marriage match. Palace names do not become houses or day pillars.

Which relationships does this tool accept?

Overall, romantic, and marriage. Parent-child and business are not offered, because this comparison is built on the spouse palace and annual transformations, not on those scenes.

What is a two-way transformation?

Person A’s lu, quan, ke, or ji star is located in person B’s palaces, then person B’s four are located in person A’s palaces. Each line keeps both endpoints.

Do both people need a birth hour?

Yes. A Zi Wei chart without an hour does not have stable palaces, so the mirror has nothing reliable to compare.
