What this section is for
Luck periods are the easiest layer to read as a calendar. This section puts them back as one question: which palace is brought forward in this span.
Without natal palaces, a period has nowhere to land. That is why it comes after the reading method.
What to read first
Read the decade first: how a ten-year step brings one palace forward. The ages are the ones on the report. Then read the annual layer, and how the shorter layer sits on the decade and the natal chart.
If the engine did not mark annual transformations, stop at “which palace is louder”. Do not consult another table.
When you have to leave for a chart
The ages when a decade starts and ends are the ones the engine prints. Do not edit them from memory.
Using a period to pick a surgery date, a signing date, or a travel date leaves this section. Those decisions are not in the chart.
What this section does not say
A luck period is not a calendar prophecy.
The annual layer does not erase the natal chart.
A decade does not replace the person.
Common mistakes
- Letting the annual layer overwrite the natal chart.
- Turning a decade into a verdict on a stage of life.
- Rewriting the age boundaries from a memorised verse.

Do I read the annual layer or the decade first?
Natal chart first, then which palace the decade brings forward, and only then the annual layer on top. Reversed, the annual layer becomes a horoscope column.
Can a luck period show what happens in a given year?
No. It can only ask which palace most needs to be named in that span.
Can I read decade luck without a birth hour?
No. The decade palaces hang on the natal order that starts from the Life Palace. Without the hour, that order has no start.

Supports only what the current fateshow configuration actually calculates: palace placement, major-star arrangements, and the recorded year-boundary, leap-month, and transformation settings. It does not prove that any traditional school is uniquely correct.
