A natal chart records which way the sky faced a place on Earth at one instant. Ten planets fall into signs and houses, the Ascendant comes from time plus coordinates, and aspects join them. This page is the map. The chart tool does the calculation.

What this chart is
Western astrology here uses the tropical zodiac. The birth clock time is converted to a UT instant, including historical timezone and daylight saving, then combined with the birthplace. From that pair the engine takes geocentric apparent longitudes, the Ascendant, the Midheaven, and twelve house cusps.
The chart describes a structure. A sentence about character or a year ahead is an interpretation laid on top of positions, orbs, and house system. It is not an extra calculated fact.
What fateshow calculates
The chart prints ten bodies from the Sun through Pluto, with sign, degree, house, and daily motion so retrograde status can be checked. The Ascendant and Midheaven depend on both time and coordinates: about four minutes of clock time moves the Ascendant by roughly one degree.
House systems can be Placidus, whole sign, or equal house. The chosen system is part of the result, because the same instant yields different cusps. Aspects list the actual angular separation, the orb, and the allowance. Element and modality counts are shown as counts and weights, not as a single verdict. The lunar nodes use the true node of the instant.
What it is not
It is not a daily sun-sign column, and it is not Vedic astrology. Vedic charts shift the zodiac by ayanamsa; mixing the two sign names produces a false comparison. It also does not use BaZi solar terms or Zi Wei palaces.
Without coordinates the angles and houses cannot be placed. A date alone is not enough to invent an Ascendant.

Planetary positions are a conditional reading frame. They are not medical, legal, or financial advice, and one aspect does not schedule an event.
Common mistakes
- Reading the Sun sign as if it were the whole chart.
- Comparing charts that used different house systems without saying so.
- Treating a tropical sign name as the same placement in a sidereal chart.

Why do I need a birthplace?
The Ascendant, Midheaven, and houses are local to the coordinates. Planets can be computed from time alone; the houses cannot.
Why do two charts of the same birth differ?
House system, node type, or the timezone used to reach UT may differ. Check those declarations before calling either chart wrong.
Can this chart decide a medical or money question?
No. It can show positions and aspects. Decisions that need clinical, legal, or financial evidence have to come from those fields.
