How to find it on a chart

Once the Life Palace is set, this site lays the names around the branch ring in this order: Life, Siblings, Spouse, Children, Wealth, Health, Travel, Friends, Career, Property, Fortune, Parents, and back to Life. The branch cells stay put. The names move. Career comes after Friends. Spouse sits opposite, and Life and Wealth complete the trine.

Read the major star in Career, then Life and Wealth: how the way of starting and resources enter the public role. An empty palace borrows the Spouse major star and says so.

Work, money, and relationship often pull on one another, so the opposite Spouse Palace cannot be dropped. Without it, Career becomes an isolated job title.

Can it name a suitable profession?

It cannot assign a profession. It only describes the shape of a public role. Choosing work goes back to real skills and openings.

Why does Spouse appear in a career reading?

Because Spouse faces Career. The structure requires the name. It does not make marriage the cause of a career.
