What relationship timing analysis is
It slices the coming years into periods and rates how open each one is to relationships. With Vedic astrology: cast the natal chart, take the 7th house (Kalatra) ruler, its placement and occupants, then lay out the coming mahadashas and antardashas. A period whose lord rules the 7th house, sits in it, or is Venus or Jupiter is a traditional window. The output is a stretch of months — never a specific person, day or event.
How the Vedic reading works
The 7th house: ruler and occupants
The 7th house (Kalatra) is the house of partnership. Its sign, its ruler, which house that ruler sits in, and which planets occupy the house decide who "owns" relationship matters in your chart.
Vimshottari dasha: the timeline itself
Starting from the lord of the nakshatra your Moon occupies, nine planetary periods run for 120 years, each subdivided into nine antardashas. An antardasha usually lasts months to a couple of years — about the natural length of one window.
Three criteria
The running lord rules your 7th house → partnership becomes a headline theme. The running lord sits in the 7th → relationship matters come to you. The running lord is Venus or Jupiter → attraction and marriage-supporting qualities activate. The criteria stack into the window’s strength.
How the timeline is built
1.Pick a system
Vedic astrology is live today. BaZi (annual pillars), Zi Wei (annual/monthly), Western transits and Numerology (personal year) follow the same output contract and are added one at a time.
2.One birth record
Vedic charts use the sidereal zodiac, so exact birth time and coordinates are required; timezone and true-solar-time settings share the same input contract as the other tools.
3.Lay out three years
Antardashas inside the running mahadasha plus any mahadasha starting inside the window are listed and scored by the three criteria: strong, open, slight, or quiet.
4.Then let AI explain it
The AI reads only the whitelisted timeline facts — the 7th house, the running dasha, and each window’s span and reasons. It never re-casts a chart and takes follow-up questions.
Calculation policy: sidereal zodiac (Lahiri ayanamsa by default), whole-sign houses, Vimshottari dasha starting from the Moon’s nakshatra. Default horizon is three years, at month granularity.
What the result shows
The result leads with the conclusion — which windows are open — then the timeline and the evidence you can check.
- Key windows: the two strongest, with strength and reasons.
- Full timeline in chronological order, each with its lord and strength.
- 7th house evidence: sign, ruler, the ruler’s house, occupants.
- The running mahadasha, plus your Lagna and ayanamsa.
- An AI reading that cites these facts and nothing else.
- A statement of the traditional framework’s limits.
Common questions
- Does this predict when I will meet someone?
- No. It shows when relationship themes are more likely to come up — a lens from a traditional framework, not a prediction of a person, a day, or an event.
- Why Vedic rather than BaZi or Zi Wei?
- All three can do it, with different methods and granularity: BaZi reads annual pillars, Zi Wei annual and monthly cycles, Vedic the mahadasha and antardasha. Vedic dasha is already a year-and-month timeline, so it fits timing most directly.
- Why are exact time and coordinates required?
- The sidereal chart, the Ascendant and the houses all depend on both; the Moon’s nakshatra sets where the whole dasha timeline starts.
- What about the quiet years?
- Traditionally those are not relationship-themed stretches — better for your own matters. A window is a tendency, not a command; not meeting someone in one means nothing about you.
