What the Ideal Partner Portrait is
This tool reads a partner by traditional method. AI never guesses a chart: the existing engines cast it first, then relationship fields are extracted. You pick one system — BaZi, Zi Wei or Western astrology — and only that one is read, in its own way: what this person is like, how the relationship works, and what to watch out for. The three are never blended into one score. It is a lens from traditional interpretation, not a prediction of a specific person.
What each system reads
Western astrology: Descendant and 7th house
The Descendant (7th-house cusp) sets the partner type, Venus the way you love, the Moon your emotional needs and Mars how you act and want. Where the 7th-house ruler falls shows where you are more likely to meet.
BaZi: spouse gods and day branch
Women read the Direct Officer and Seven Killings as the spouse star; men read Direct and Indirect Wealth. Added to the day-branch hidden-stem gods, the pillar the spouse star sits in, day-master strength and clashes around the day branch, it gives character, rhythm and what to watch.
Zi Wei: the Spouse Palace stars
Major stars in the Spouse Palace set the partner’s character and the dynamics; auxiliaries add detail (distance, romance, support, friction) and the four transformations point to the relationship’s sore spot. When the palace is empty, the engine-provided borrowed stars are used and labelled as borrowed.
How the portrait is built
1.Pick one system
BaZi, Zi Wei or Western astrology — only one is read at a time. The three use genuinely different rules, so blending them only dilutes each.
2.Share one birth record
Date, exact time, coordinates, gender, calendar, true-solar-time and day-boundary settings are entered once; the selected system takes the fields it needs.
3.Read it that system’s way
BaZi uses the spouse gods and day branch, Zi Wei the Spouse Palace stars and transformations, Western astrology the Descendant and 7th house. All three land in the same three blocks: character, dynamics, what to watch.
4.Then let AI explain it
The AI reads only the computed portrait fields — it never re-casts a chart or invents conclusions, cites its evidence, and takes follow-up questions.
Calculation policy: Western astrology restores UT from local clock time and historical timezone, then uses coordinates for the Descendant and houses (latitude required). True Solar Time and day-boundary settings apply to BaZi and Zi Wei.
What the result shows
The result leads with the portrait this one system produced, then exposes the fields you can check.
- Three blocks: the partner’s character, how the relationship works, what to watch.
- The evidence fields of that system — spouse gods, Spouse Palace stars, Descendant and 7th house.
- Zi Wei also gives a spouse direction; Western astrology also gives an appearance tendency.
- An AI reading that cites these fields and nothing else.
- Interpretive limits and where each method comes from.
Common questions
- Why read only one system at a time?
- BaZi, Zi Wei and Western astrology use genuinely different rules for reading a partner. Run separately, each gives a complete reading in its own tradition — and you can compare which one fits.
- What if the three systems disagree?
- They will, and that is expected: they are different interpretive frameworks. Start with the one that fits best, or run all three and compare — rather than forcing a compromise answer.
- Why are exact time and coordinates required?
- Zi Wei palaces and the BaZi hour pillar change with the exact time; the Descendant and houses need both time and coordinates. Without latitude, Western astrology cannot place the houses.
- Does AI calculate the chart?
- No. The deterministic engine casts it first. The AI receives only whitelisted portrait fields and must cite them by id.
- Are the BaZi spouse-god rules modern relationship claims?
- No. Choosing Direct Officer and Seven Killings for women, and Direct and Indirect Wealth for men, is a traditional interpretive rule, stated as such on the page and in the AI prompt.
