What home buying and settling means
It splits "should I buy, can I afford it" into three questions — how you buy, where the money and help come from, and what to watch — then lays out the coming years on the same system. Each system reads it its own way: Zi Wei through the Property and Wealth palaces, BaZi through 印星, 财星 and 官杀, Western astrology through the 4th, 2nd and 8th houses, Vedic through the Sukha and Dhana houses with Mars. The output is a set of cues, not a "you will buy in year X" promise, and it predicts no specific price, market move or deal outcome.
What each system reads
Zi Wei: Property palace, Wealth palace and transformations
The Property palace stars set the shape of the home: 紫微 wants standing, 天府 is a natural buyer, 太阴 a warm well-founded home, 贪狼 several flats, 破军 frequent moves. The Wealth palace stars show buying power and where the funds come from. Of the transformations, 化禄 brings returns, 化权 puts you in charge, 化科 a presentable home and 化忌 repeats and disputes; 擎羊/陀罗/火铃/空劫 mark disputes and overspend. An empty palace borrows and says so.
BaZi: 印星, 财星 and 官杀
印星 (resource) rules the home and shelter — whether it is firm; 财星 the budget and cash flow, exposed or hidden deciding what you can afford; 官杀 the loan, tax and contract pressure; 比劫 whether the home is shared or split. Day-master strength decides how much debt you can carry. Which star is strong and which weak is the skeleton of the reading.
Western astrology: 4th, 2nd, 8th houses and Saturn
The 4th house (home, property) sign and its ruler say what the home looks like and how you can buy; the 2nd (own resources) the deposit and payments; the 8th (other people’s money, loans) the mortgage and co-investment. The Moon shows what settles you, Venus quality of living, Saturn the cost and delay. House rulers use the classical rulers.
Vedic: Sukha, Dhana and Mars
The 4th house (Sukha, home and property) sign and its ruler say what the home looks like and how you can buy; the 2nd (Dhana, wealth) the deposit and payments; Mars (Mangala, the traditional planet of land and property) the drive and friction. The Moon shows what settles you, Venus quality, Saturn delay and Jupiter opportunity. Whole-sign houses, sidereal zodiac.
How this reading is built
1.Pick one system
Zi Wei, BaZi, Western or Vedic astrology — only one runs at a time. The four read property differently, and blending them only dilutes each.
2.One birth record
Date (solar or lunar), exact birth time, birthplace and gender are entered once. True Solar Time is on by default; Western and Vedic astrology also need birthplace coordinates.
3.Read it that system’s way
Zi Wei takes the Property and Wealth palaces, BaZi the 印星, 财星 and 官杀, Western astrology the 4th, 2nd and 8th houses, Vedic the Sukha, Dhana and Mars — all landing in the same three blocks plus a short forward timeline.
4.Then let AI explain it
The AI reads only the whitelisted fields, never re-casts a chart, never predicts a price, market move or deal outcome, and never gives investment or legal advice. It cites its evidence and takes follow-ups.
Calculation policy: timezone comes from the birthplace (Asia/Shanghai, UTC+8 for mainland China), with historical offsets and daylight saving restored. True Solar Time is on by default — it drives the BaZi day and hour pillars and, in some Zi Wei schools, the Life and Body palaces. Western and Vedic astrology do not use True Solar Time but require birthplace coordinates.
What the result shows
The result leads with the three blocks this system produced, then the evidence and the coming years.
- Three blocks: how you buy, your money and help, and what to watch.
- Evidence: for Zi Wei the Property and Wealth palaces, for BaZi the 印星, 财星 and 官杀, for Western astrology the 4th, 2nd and 8th houses, for Vedic the Sukha and Dhana houses with Mars.
- A settling timeline: the next few years as month-range windows with strength, the criteria and a "what to do" line.
- An AI reading that cites these fields and nothing else.
- A statement of the limits, including that it predicts no price, market move or deal.
Common questions
- What is this tool good for?
- It is good for questions like "should I buy", "can I afford it", "where should the home be" and "which stretch should I move" — how to set the budget and payment, whether to start viewing now, and rent versus buy. It is not built for a specific price, market move, interest rate or whether a particular property will close.
- Can I base a buying decision on it?
- Not as the only input. It is a set of cues inside a traditional framework, useful for how you buy and the timing; a real decision also rests on budget, the loan, the city and family. It is not investment, tax or legal advice.
- Will it tell me the price or whether a deal will close?
- No. None of the four systems predicts a specific price, market move or deal; they judge how you buy, where the money and help come from, and when to move. Everything shown is structure and tendency, not a price promise.
- How is this different from Relocation & Distance?
- That tool asks whether to leave your birthplace and which way to go — the movement line of the Travel palace, 驿马 and the 4th/9th houses. This one asks only about settling and property: the Property palace, 印星, the 4th and 2nd houses. They share the same systems and birth record, so you can read both and compare.
- What if the four systems disagree?
- They will, and that is expected — the four read property differently. Start with the one that fits best, or run them all and compare, rather than forcing a compromise answer.
