Zi Wei

Zi Wei is one of the fourteen major stars. The dictionary tendency is: it prefers to steer and keep the whole picture. It becomes a sentence only inside a palace.

The tendency of this star

Zi Wei’s tendency is to pull a situation into a frame it can see, and to set the tone at the start. That is a condition, not a title of “born leader”.

Without a chart you cannot assign it to the Life Palace or to any other palace. Placement is whatever the engine prints.

Name the palace before the star

In the Life Palace the sentence is “the way of starting wants to hold the frame”. In Career it becomes “the public role wants to hold the frame”. Those are not the same portrait.

Name the palace, then san fang si zheng, then any transformation. “Zi Wei is strong” is not a reading.

Check a shared palace before combining

Zi Wei and Tian Xiang can share a palace. Combine them only when the chart actually prints both there: the wish to steer sits beside coordination.

If they do not share the cell, do not use that sentence. Tian Xiang in the trine is a related condition, not a co-tenant. A pattern name adds no new calculation.

Auxiliaries and si hua only change the condition

A lucky star or a sha star in the same palace only stacks help or friction onto “holding the frame”. A sha star is not a conviction.

Hua quan marks the wish to steer more loudly. Hua ji marks the palace as one that will not let go. Neither is a new major star, and neither is a flying transformation. This page does not add a flight the engine did not print.

Common mistakes

  • Turning Zi Wei into a lifelong rank of leader.
  • Saying Zi Wei is in the Life Palace without a chart.
  • Naming a Zi Wei–Tian Xiang pattern when they do not share a palace.
