How to read major stars together
Two major stars in one palace make one sentence: how the palace’s matter is modified by both tendencies at once. They are not two personality sketches added together, and the fourteen stars are not fourteen scores.

One palace, two tendencies, one matter
Name the palace, then the two stars. Zi Wei with Tian Xiang: Zi Wei decides on its own, Tian Xiang has to make the decision acceptable in the room. One sentence: this palace’s matter wants to decide and still has to be deliverable to other people. Which star you mention first depends on the side you are explaining, but both stay in the sentence. Sharing a cell does not make them equal in every chart; sometimes one is the theme and the other changes the condition.
A trine star is not a co-tenant
The trine palaces sit four cells away. A star there is a related condition, not a resident of the self palace. Write “the trine palace X holds star Y.” Do not say the self palace has three majors when it has one. A borrowed opposite star is labeled as borrowed.
Zi Wei and Tian Xiang in one sentence
Illustration: Life holds Zi Wei and Tian Xiang, and the Wealth trine holds Wu Qu. The shared cell: the start both decides alone and has to be fit for other people to receive. The trine is a second clause: Wealth is Wu Qu, so a result has to be countable. Do not merge this into “Life contains three personalities: Zi Wei, Tian Xiang, and Wu Qu.” Wu Qu is not in Life. The sentence also does not assign an occupation.
Common mistakes
- Scoring the fourteen stars one by one and adding the scores.
- Writing a trine star as if it shared the self palace.
- Two personality paragraphs for two stars, with no matter that belongs to the palace.

Read that one star, then the opposite and the trine as related conditions. Do not import a second major so the sentence looks paired.
Are Zi Wei and Tian Xiang a fixed lucky pattern?
They are a common shared-cell pair, useful for one sentence. The pair’s name does not decide luck. Palace, sha stars, and transformations still belong in the reading.
Do auxiliary stars join the same sentence?
Yes, after the majors, as conditions. They do not become a third major star.
