The six sha stars

Qing Yang, Tuo Luo, Huo Xing, Ling Xing, Di Kong, and Di Jie are often called the six sha stars. They mark friction, a sudden turn, or a result that fails to land. They are not a sentence passed on a person.

Three kinds of catch

Qing Yang and Tuo Luo lean toward blockage: a hard edge, or two steps forward and one back. Huo Xing and Ling Xing lean toward suddenness: the condition changes before the plan is ready. Di Kong and Di Jie lean toward a result that does not land in the shape you expected. All three still depend on the palace. The same sha star in Wealth and in Parents catches different matters.

Name the matter, then where it catches

A sha star does not open a second chart. Sharing a cell with a major star, you say what the palace is doing, then whether the catch is friction, suddenness, or a result that fails to land. A cell with a sha star and no major still has to say whether it is empty and borrowing the opposite, or simply without a major of its own.

Qing Yang next: while the account is being checked, a hard condition appears, a rule changes, or the other side will not move. One sentence: money here is thought through, and it meets an edge on the way. It is not “Yang means the money is lost,” and a sha star is not a threat to aim at yourself or someone else. Common mistakes

  • Reading the six sha stars as a list of punishments.
  • Hearing Di Kong or Di Jie as a life domain that does not exist.
  • Letting the sha star erase the major star so the palace shrinks to the word “bad.”

Frequently asked questions

Lucky star and sha star in one palace: which wins?

Write both into one sentence. The major star names the matter, the lucky star names help or paperwork, the sha star names the catch. They do not cancel to zero.

Does Huo Xing mean an accident?

It marks a condition that changes quickly. What the matter is comes from the palace name. The star name alone is not an accident report.

Is a chart better with no sha stars?

It only means these six conditions were not marked. Other stars and palaces are still in play. Absence is not a certificate of ease.
