What the overlay does

Each person already has personality and design activations. The composite takes the union of activated gates. A channel that appears only in the union can define a center, a type, or an authority that neither person has alone.

An electromagnetic channel has one gate in one chart and the other gate in the second chart. Companionship is a channel both people already have, plus gates both hold. A one-sided fit is a full channel on one side and a single gate of that channel on the other. Schools name that last shape “compromise” or “dominance” in opposite directions. This chart prints the shape and does not pick a school’s label.

What fateshow calculates

Each of the nine centers is marked defined or open for person A, person B, and the composite. The chart flags centers defined in only one person, and centers open in both that become defined together. An open center remains an opening, not a flaw.

What it is not

It is not an average of two types, and it is not a synastry orb table. Gates are either in the set or they are not.

Birth times that are only approximate cannot support the design instant. Do not overlay guessed graphs.
