Ten bodies, four angles
The chart runs from the Sun through Pluto. Ascendant, Midheaven, Descendant, and Imum Coeli are angles, not four extra planets. Without place or clock, the angles and houses stop.
This chart uses the tropical zodiac
0 Aries is the equinox. The same birth can sit nearly a sign away on the Vedic sidereal zodiac. Say which chart is tropical before you compare.
Write the Sun and the Ascendant apart
Illustration: Sun in Leo, Ascendant in Libra. The Sun is an ecliptic point. The Ascendant is the degree on the eastern horizon. Keep both sentences. Leo is not the whole person.
Common mistakes
- Letting the sun sign stand for the whole chart.
