The nuclear hexagram comes from the inner four lines

Lines two, three, and four of the primary hexagram rebuild one trigram. Lines three, four, and five rebuild the other. Together they are the nuclear hexagram. It is not a second cast, and it is not the answer to a different question. It shows the structure stacked in the middle of these six lines.

The changed hexagram follows the moving line that was calculated

The moving line’s position is the cast’s result. Flip that line’s yin or yang and you have the changed hexagram. Do not move the line so the story sounds better. The changed hexagram does not rewrite a fact that already happened. It is the condition after the change. Reciting only its text drops the primary and the nuclear hexagrams.

Three hexagrams, one sentence

Illustration: host and guest are already split on the primary hexagram, the nuclear hexagram shows another pair of elements in the middle, and after the moving line the host-guest relation changes. Write three clauses: how the two sides relate now, what is stacked in the middle, and how the relation stands after the line moves. Do not announce an outcome from the changed hexagram alone. This is still the structure of one stated question, not an event on a calendar.
